PCAT Goes CBT!

Pearson Vue has announced that the PCAT in going into Computer-Based-Testing mode from the current year. That is to say that the PCAT that will be held in 2011 will be CBT. So far, PCAT was a paper based examination. The change, however, remains only in the format. Pearson officials assure that the exam will remain exactly the same in essence to its former PBT self. No changes have been brought about in the rules and regulations.

Pearson Vue states that although the exam has become computer-based, the candidates will not be granted access to the internet. They would neither be allowed to make use of facilities such as spell-check, online calculator among others.
