Can I sit for the PCAT more than once? If so, is there any particular procedure I must follow?
Yes. You can sit for the PCAT if you fail to clear it at the first go. However, you must register for every new test, and remember that you can’t register more than once in a certain year. You can sit for the PCAT only once a year. You can shift the test day if you fail to appear on the scheduled one, but you cannot do that if you feel that your test didn’t go too well.
The PCAT allows you to register for the test five times in a row without any impediments. On the sixth try, however, some issues may arise. The Pearson Vue Office might ask you to submit an additional application form along with certain documents. You will also be asked to submit an application stating why you need to sit the PCAT yet again.
Do keep in mind that these applications must be sent in well in advance of the examination, since the office might not be able to get back to you within the stipulated 10 days owing to huge traffic.
